Carriage Works Billet Grill

Was at my local truck accessories shop and made an impulse buy. Purchased the bolt-over polished billet grill from Carriage Works (part #43542). I usually regret purchases like this, but I'm pretty pleased with the results. The installation was very simple. The quality and fitment of the upper and lower grills was spot on. The only issue I had with the grills was there was a lot of dried on polishing compound still left on them. I spent about 30 minutes cleaning them up. Pretty minor issue, but sloppy on Carriage Works part! Here are some pictures....

looks good, but i really like the contrast of the black insert on the chrome grille which is why i haven't gotten one yet.. i really like the black honeycomb style

The only issue I have with the stock black grill was that it looks a little cheap, "plastic-like"! To me the billet grill gives the front of the truck a little bit more of a classy look without being too bling-ish!! Only the outside edges of the grill are polished. The rest of the bars are black anodized.

I really like the looks of them on a GMC!! There is a thread somewhere I saw with several GMCs with the billet grills. I think that thread was what put this idea into my subconscious!
