07 Vmax Transmission Problems

I recently had a vette servo installed in my 07 max along with a new filter and fluid flush (not power flushed) I picked up a gm filter kit and the correct dexron VI fluid.

 

I have been only driving around town as of the last 2 weeks and finally took it out on the highway tonight.

 

the truck shifts great 1st to second, second to third but doesnt shift into 4th and does not lock up the torque converter (I believe the truck has a lock up) the rpms also drop down to idle when coasting (maybe normal) it does not appear to be slipping any either.

 

when you select the shifter to third the rpms do not drop off and the truck has no hesitation or slipping feeling when going from coasting to giving it a fair amount of throttle.

 

its a little weird seeing the truck at 3000rpms at 75mph.

 

when the servo was installed and the fluid and filter were changed there was no burnt smell to the fluid and it was as pink as the new stuff is.

 

the fluid is still pink and still smells good now, when I noticed the trans was not shifting I kept an eye on the temp and it was at 41c / 104f and not heating up past that point.

 

should I have the servo removed? could I have done damage to the trans? any ideas at all

 

only odd thing I have ever noticed is that the truck surges slightly when you are lightly on the brake in drive and just barely creeping forward. As soon as you release the pressure from the break it picks up idle speed and runs very smooth.
