First Post, Question About Wheels And Lift

Hey guys,joined not too long ago and been looking around and this is a pretty nice forum! Just thought id start my first post by asking something ive been wondering for a while. My truck is sitting on 24" boss 313's and was wondering if i could throw some ss-m16 40s on it? I wanna go with big tires on 24s but not sure if i need diff rims..OFFSET??.. And also would yall have any advice on the cheapest way to go with about a 12in. lift? I heard of stacking add a leafs or something like that, just not sure of what exactly they were talking about. Any advice would help.. Thanks

Do you have a GMT-900 or GMT 800?? and Idk about fitting 40's. Might need more than 12 inches but I'm not too sure.

We need more info about the truck, current wheel width/offset, etc. But you will definately need around 15" of lift to clear 40's and you aren't going to get off cheap. Plan on spending between $5-$7k for lift alone.
