Max Tire Size On Stock Rim

I have a 08 Sierra... I currently have a 3" Rough country suspension lift and i have a 1.5" Zone body lift just waiting to put on.... I have 275/55/20's on stock GMC 20's. The tires look way to small as is... Thats gonna give me a total 4.5" in the front and 3" in the back over stock. I know 275/55, 275/60, 285/55 all fit with just the RC lift. I have been told 305/55 will fit with minor trimming.

With the above setup what would you recommend ? I was thinking 285/55 0r 305/50's but, those are expensive odd sizes. I also was thinking that the 1.5 body lift would make those look to small.

Im so lost on what tire size to go with..... this is getting very frustrating.

The pic up is with the 3" RC lift only... I really need to take some more pics just no time

305/55 would look good. theres a guy on here that has those on stock wheels with just a leveling kit and he claims no rubbing. 305/50 is just about the same height as the stock size you have now just wider

I agree. 305/55's will look good and if they are going on the stockers, you may not have to trim much if any. My old 305/55's rubbed a little when turning at full lock on an incline with 5" of lift but I was on aftermarket wheels.

Anyone know the factory wheel bs?

Im thinking of either powdercoating black or doing some kind of chrome. I love the style of that wheel.
