07 GMC Sierra Denali 2wd GMT 900

2" Tuff Country Leveling Kit (Seems to be 1.5 though  )

275/65/18 Wrangler Silent Armor on stock 18's

I have finally decided on Chrome 18x9 Moto Metal 951's mounted with the 275/65/18 Silent Armors (Best tires I've ever had!).

My question is they only come in 2 offsets for our trucks +18 and -12.

I do want them to stick out a little further than stock and love the way MS3DALE's truck looks, but he stated he is running a 0 offset. And I have seen in other posts suggesting the +18, I just don't have a good frame of reffrence what the +18's would look like as compared to what I already have.

I know yall are a little frustrated with the wheel and tire offset posts, but this is a one time deal and I'm buying these babies on Tuesday for sure so it won't be all for not.

Also any thoughts on the total set up are also greatly appreciated

get the +18... the -12 will stick out too far

for reference, my wheels are 9" wide with +18mm offset

Thanks for the reply Matt! Is it plausable to expect a similar look to yours when my tires are almost 2 inches less in width? I will upgrade to 33's when my current tires wear out but got to run the 275/65's for quite a long time. Also it looks like you got quite a lip on your rims which I love! Will the moto metal's be similar in your opinion?

depending on how the spokes are designed you could have a similar lip to my wheels.

stance should be about the same.... my section width should only be 1" wider than yours which translates to 1/2" at the wheel wells. look at it this way.... if you get the -12mm offset and run 275s, the sidewall of your tire will stick out about 1/2" further than mine... imo mine are already on the brink of "too far" and i plan on putting on 275/60/20s my next go around.

what size tires is ms3dale running? -12mm will put your outer edge 1/2" further out than his assuming he's running 9" wide wheels

MS3DALE is running 275/65/18's as well on a 9" wide wheel. It really sounds like the +18 is the way to go since the only other option is the -12 which would put them out much too far in my opinion. Would these new wheels push the tires out any further than my stock 18 denali rims? Thanks again for taking the time to answer my questions, I have noticed that you are one of the best on the board at giving advice and your truck looks AWESOME!

lol thanks man.

...and yes, 9" wide wheels with +18mm offset (5.7" backspace) will push the tires out further than the stock 18" denali wheels. the stock wheels are 18x8 with +31mm offset which is also 5.7" backspace..in other words, the new wheels will stick out 1" further than stock

Thanks for all the help Matt! Just made a call to Discount Tire to slap those babies on Tuesday! I'll post up pics in the general forum once it's all done!

I got -12mm offset. They dont look bad, but does get side truck dirty fast.

GMT800's are different than GMT900's when it comes to wheel offsets. -12s on your truck is like running a 0 or +6 offset on a GMT900.
