Could Be A New Owner.

I am looking into purchasing a GMC Sierra. I have been an avid VW owner and I feel it's time to step it up and get something that can take me places where my VW wouldn't. I found a nice 2008 for a decent price but I wanted some opinions from people who have more experience with these trucks. Is it a good a buy?

 

The truck is pretty much fully loaded on the inside. Asking price is around 35k. Is has brand new A/T tires.

How many miles are on it. 35k seems pretty high (you can get a new one for close to that price if not cheaper).

 

It also has a leveling kit on the front so you'll want to be sure and check the ball joints. The upper ones are known to have issues especially with a level kit.

 

Otherwise looks like its a good looking truck.

 

I love mine and will buy another when this one is paid off - so I'll have it for along time.

 

BTW - Sharp car - thats gotta be hard to part with.

Truck looks like it has some nice mods to it already, $35k still seems way too high. But, depending where you live that may be what they're selling for.

 

You can find one around here for $4k-$5k less

truck has 30xxx miles on it. I plan on talking them down and I am sure there will come down when the figure out how I am paying for it.

 

I am very new to full size trucks. I have only worked on imports and monster trucks haha. I plan on just throwing a decent cat back on it and a good intake. Eventually get some black wheels.
