Cherry Bomb

Have any of you guys looked into or have the cherry bomb catback exhaust? I found it for under $300. I've always really liked the cherry bomb sound just wanted to see what you guys thought.

I did some time ago, as my dad always talked about 'cherrybombs' back when he was young on cars. So I was glad to see they made a come back. I think they are cheap if i remember because they are just steel pipes, so would rust pretty quick and see your from WI and me from MN, so that would be an issue for us. I do like their mufflers though, and have read how some on here just replace the muffler and like the sound so I have tossed that around some. I would think about the Corsa but for my RCSB they don't offer what i want

I second the concern about it being only steel. I had a Flowmaster steel system on my truck for three years and then it was shot. Those three years were in Grand Forks, ND where they very little salt, if any. I replaced it with a Magnaflow stainless system that cost about $500.

 

On the opposite side the Cherrybombs are cheap, and if you do not mind going through the hassle of replacing it every few years go for it.

Ive had there Cherry Bomb Muffler on three different trucks now. My new one goes in Thursday for one, and my first one has had one on it for over 5 years now and it has not rusted out yet. I was showed a Cherry Bomb and a Flowmaster at the same time by the exaust guy and the Cherry Bomb was higher quality. Even the welds were better. I like the sound of them too!

You putting a Vortex on it? Or an Elite or one of the others? Curious...
