Bushwacker Fender Flares...opinions?

I`ve been kicking around the idea of getting fender flares for the truck for a bit now.

My aftermarket rims are offset a bit and are kicking stuff up onto the sides of the truck continually....paint is getting pretty banged up.

I am going to probably need the 1 3/4" Bushwacker models to get enough coverage.

I`m just not sure how its gonna look and I would be keeping them the matted black they come like.

Any opinions appreciated.

I like them on 4x4's. Don't think they would look good on my 08 SD, or I'd have them. Here is what Google had to provide:

I think they look good on 4x4's forsure, I say go for it man!

I don't like 'em on the Silverado's. With the fender styling, it looks too much like a damn set of stairs.

i went with CRE Rocker Flares for my sierra. I'll post some pix when i get them on.
