Radio Powered Up

I have found that my 2009 Silverado radio quits playing when the engine is turned off. On other GM products that I have owned the radio will continue until the drivers door is opened. I find this rather annoying from previous usage. Is this now the way it is suppose to work or is there something wrong with my set-up?

There is something wrong. Search the forums for RAP (Retained Accessory Power) There is a fuse somewhere for it, it may be blown.
