Looking For Package Info

i'm just curious and really can't find alot of info on the older s-10 packages, i use to have the tahoe package on my s-10 and i've seen a durango and also a baja...anybody got any info?

I just bought a 92 s10. It says Tahoe on the glove box door. The truck is a 2wd 2.8l 5 speed two tone long bed truck. It has manual windows and locks. I'm not sure what makes it a S10 Tahoe. It will research it one day.

The Tahoe package consisted of stiffer springs and shocks, bigger sway bar and interior trim. It also has Tahoe badging on the fenders and glove box.

 

BTW, the 2.8L V6 is the worst POS engine ever made. I wouldn't use it as a paper weight. No offence to Mike, but that was a crappy excuse of an engine. My first S-10 Tahoe King Cab had the 2.8 and I had to yank it and drop a V8 in it. The Tahoe springs held it well.

i had a 91 s-10 tahoe SCLB red manuel everything 4x4 4.3 5 speed....awsome truck it too said tahoe on the glovebox and i could never figure it out...i ended up selling it because it started leaking a ton of oil, had almost 400k on the clock, only thing every replaced was brake pads aside from the usual plugs,wires ETC....wish i could say the same for my 04
