I know to disable the DRL just pull the fuse. But, on my '10 Silverado it has two fuses. One in position #31 DRL and another in position #33 Daytime Running Lights-2. Why are there 2 fuses and what do each of them do. I haven't tried pulling either one yet.

Pull either or both. Doesn't matter. All of the GMT900s have 2. According to the factory service manual the 2 fuses are in series for some reason.

Yep, that will do it. Do not like DRLs. But please remember to turn on your lights, not parking lights, when the weather or other conditions make you hard to see. I see so many people in gray weather/rain with wipers on but not lights. Same with fog. Also with fog remember your DRLs may be on but not your tails...lights please when needed...

Also I have had some people put blown fuses back in...just in case some one pulls out in front of ya and their agressive lawyer tries to make it your fault...

why dont you like drls? i think theyre a good thing. especially at twilight when people dont turn their lights on- you always see the lights before you see the car behind you.

what bugs me is how dash lights turn on without headlights turning on- people dont realize their headlights arent on because of it.

+1. I think DRLs are a good thing. What bugs me is seeing people driving around with one of them burnt out. I figured they were prone to that so I made sure that I bought extra bulbs when I got my Suburban. Well, five years later, still haven't burned one out. Figures.
