Delco To Bose Speaker Upgrade?

Is it Possible to replace my Stock 01 Silverado Speakers with the same year Bose? Do they hook up the same in the front door, with the plastic ring with the squeeze clips? Would I be better off with some aftermarket speakers?

Bose speakers are just cheap drivers designed to work with the over rated Bose system. Aftermarket speakers are hands down better items. Even inexpensive Pioneer / Sony, etc would be better. I recommend MB Quart myself.

Agreed. I change out Bose speakers all the time. I personally would recommend Infinity Kappas, Polk Audio MM series, or MB Quart Onyx Series.
