Integrate Iphone With Factory System?

I have a 2005 silverado that has Onstar, XM, Bose, and 6CD changer. I currently have a PAC-OEM24 adapter connected to it, this provides RCA outputs that I have connected to a MTX amp which feeds a pair of Rockford Fosgate 10" subs. I also have a LOC sub volume that taps into the PAC adapter to control the sub volume independently.

I recently purchased an iPhone that would like to integrate. I would Like to be able to use all my factory equipment, stereo/steering wheel controls, to control the iPod funtionality, as well as use the voice control capability of the iPhone. I would like to be able to use 'voice dial' with the iPhone, have all sound to come through the existing speakers, and have the system auto-mute itself if a call comes in regardless of what input is playing; iPod/iPhone/cd changer/XM or AM/FM radio. What product(s) would I need to make this happen?

I spoke with a person at Installer.com and he said if I did the handsfree, the sound would only work through the front speakers and I would lose the ability to use the amp to power the subs when listening to music from the ipod functionality.

Is this just asking to much from the stock setup and I will be forced to go aftermarket?

Thanks in advance,

Randy

hey, im sorry if i may not be any help to you. i am also in the same boat as you. i got a 04 sierra and added factory nav touch screen. it has Bose, xm, and onstar. i do not have the 6 disc cd changer though. i have been wanting to get bluetooth in my truck but use the trucks factory mic. the only thing i have found so far is a device called argo bluestar. the only problem is that your onstar will not work anymore. i think its like $250 plus shipping. Google onstar bluetooth. i also found a company called galaxy 1000. you can youtube that. i went to their website and entered my truck and it said it wouldn't work and to call them when i get a newer truck lol. hopefully it was a mistake.

i have an iphone 3g. iv been wanting to be able to hook my phone up to my radio so i can listen to the ipod function. it would be cool to get text information on the radio asa well as change songs from radio or steering wheel controls. i for some reason went to ebay and typed in the search bar "iphone seirra" and got a good result to my need. unfortunalty i havent found one plug and play device to do everything that i want. i want to be able to press the call button on my steering wheel to accept phone calls and make them.

im sorry if i babbled but hope u can find something with my help.
