Cleaning Your Wheels/truck

New to the board... looked through some of the topics and did a search for this, but did not find my answer....

I have an 09 Silverado with the allstar package (comes with the 20" chrome clad alloy wheels). I am looking for something to clean/shine them up real well. like when they were new. Any recommendations?

Also, my truck is black and is beginning to show scratched from the wind/sand what not. I normally use eagle one nano wax, but recently found out it was discontinued and replaced by some crap gel stuff... Anyone have any recommendations as to what to use?

I like the Mothers powerball/powercone with their liquid cleaner to clean my rims on my sierra makes getting into the tough areas simple and easy......as for the paint there are a ton of products out there to use...everyone has their favorites and their dislikes but for me every spring I use raceglaze cleaner/polish to get the heavy crud and tar off from the winter. After that I just use turtle wax ice liquid polish. I really like the fact you dont have to worry about getting the "ice" on any of the plastic trim, it actually shines it up nice. In between washings I use the Ice detailer for the quick wipedowns when its not in need of a bath anyway.
