Center Console Removal

What is involved in removing the center console from a 2004 Tahoe Z71? I need to gain access to the rear seat and the console is the way. I can see that it is held in place by the two seat bolts in the rear, but I am imagining that there are other hidden screws or bolts to be dealt with. Also I have the Bose audio system and have read somewhere that the subwoofer is located under the console. Is that true? If it is it really complicates want I am wanting to do. Thanks
