chev1guy Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 For the past couple of days the driver’s side has been making a creaking type of noise whenever I go over bumps. I changed the shocks out a couple of months ago to the bilstein shocks; however, I doubt that it is the shock. Is there a way to check the shock or does anybody have an idea to what might be causing the problem. Thanks

Does the shocks have Eyelets on both the top and bottom? or a Stem???? Shocks with Eyelets PROPER TORQUE IS REQUIRED. If you over torque the bolts they will cause squeaks as you will pinch the rubber in the eyelets.... Jbo
