Major_Kong Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 My rear bumper (NNBS) looks like it is tilted backwards a little (i.e. it doesn't look like it is sitting level). It bugs the hell out of me whenever I look at it. Is the bumper angle adjustable? Note: I have a factory hitch installed and I nudged a tree while backing up (approx 3 mph). I noticed that the hitch is bolted on to the middle section of the bumper. Would this nudge be enough to knock the bumper out of whack? If so, these bumpers truely suck.

These bumpers do truly suck. They aren't much stronger than a fender. B. Yes, there is some adjustment in them if you loosen the mounting bolts. Not a lot, but there is some.
redvett Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 Softer bumpers, chassis & body's make for better crush zones. The ability to absorb an impact and save you and everyone else's lives. Crush-ability saves lives so don't complain. You or your friends, family maybe involved in an accident someday.
jwieps Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 Try pulling it back out with your hands....... You would be suprised how easy they bend.

GM has just cheapened the build quality of these items to save weight and money.
