Just My Luck

Over the last week I have had Murphey's law kind of luck. Three computers break same day. Run out of cat litter and did not discover this untill my g/f dumped the whole box in the trash at 12:30am. Guess who had to go to Wal-Mart with her to replace it. This however is not before I attempt to haul the trash aka dirty litter to the dumpster. Bag breaks lap full of cat crap. The next day theres a scrape in the clear coat of my truck that my g/f "has no clue where it came from" At this point i figure I am going to do something to cheer myself up and get the microphone for my F700BT fixed (never worked) and have new speakers all the way around. Speakers worked out great,but the radio needs to be sent to pioneer to fix the microphone jack.

 

This brings me to the ride home. I pull to a light and I am in the left lane. A silverado (an 03 if I had to guess) pulls up on the right. Aftermarket exhaust caught my ear. Road ahead is clear in both lanes. Light goes green and we both get on um a little. I started pulling away. When I hit about 45 i backed out and slowed as it was a 35mph zone. He however did not. Here's where things get freaky. He continues in the right lane and a car decides to cross from the on comming lanes to make a left. The car plows into the pickup where the drivers door and fender meet. Spins the car almost 180 degrees. Its at that point I came to the realization that it could very well have been me and that the man upstairs was looking out for me.

 

If this has taught me nothing else I promise you this. I will no longer sweat the small stuff.

Oh, I thought the lesson was get rid of either the cat or the gf!
