Evap Solenoid Went Out

Well, I kept getting the "tighten gas cap" on the DIC decided to finally take it in to see what was up since the last one triggered the check engine light. Dealer had to order the evap vent solenoid under warranty. Anyone else have one go out on them?

same thing on my dads 03 suburban z71.

My '08 1500 WT had the same service performed under warrenty 11/09 with 32,500 miles on the truck. Same message appeared on the DIC prior to taking it in.

yep....mine was replaced at about 17, 000 miles. The first time the light came on, I cleared it. The second time...I took it to the dealer. They ordered the part...came in the next day, and took about an hour to replace.
