Ihave just installed a boat loader and alum. boat on my extentenned cab,,and it is causing major reception cutouts on my xm radio. Is there a solution,as in aafter market antenna that i could locate in different spot and tie into head unit? Thanks for any sugestions. Seeker
nickvrebel Posted May 19, 2010 Posted May 19, 2010 best info I could give is: go to your passenger side, open the glove box, look in the gap above the glove box, there's a piece of plastic you need to push up and it will allow the glove box to fall open all the way. Now look under the dash in the glove box hole, you will see where the factory XM unit resides. pull it out, inspect the antenna connection. now go to your local audio shop of Best Buy and look at their XM antennas and see if it's the same style connection, if so - buy antenna and install wherever you want.
