Should This Gmc All-terrain Have The 08-09 Wheels?

Came to work this morning and went to our morning coffee break and was looking through the paper and see a GMC All-Terrain, 2009 model. So I ran it on CompNine and it was built in May of last year, so it should have the original chrome 5 spoke wheels correct? But it has the newer chrome-clad wheels. Which is says under the CompNine report as well, so did all the AT's say chrome-clad even in 08-09? Or did they switch to the chrome-clad wheels this early last year? Curiosity is getting the best of me.

why? I would guess it was probably traded on a 2010 All terrain and the guy wanted to keep his 2009 wheels so they swapped them.

Honestly I dont see the all the hype about the All Terrain wheels, I got rid of mine as quick as I could for easy cash in the pockets. Nice looking wheels for factory, but nothing to go bonkers over.

True...I was just curious was all. And since it said it had the chrome-clad wheels on the CompNine website...i was wondering if say you ran your VIN number if it would say the same thing, even though yours came with the original wheels.

Personally I am thrilled with the factory wheels; I'm not a big aftermarket wheel fan.

I'm thinking that's just a discrepancy in Compnine's database. The 2010's wheels have a completely different RPO code as well (RZF).

 

RGA = 2008-09 Chromed Aluminum 18x8"

 

RZF = 2010-11 Chrome-Clad Aluminum 18x8"

OK.... that's just strange.

 

My '08 comes up that way too, though "WHEEL 18 X 8, ALUM, CHROME CLAD, 5 SPOKES, (GMC) FLANGED ALUM WHL(RGA)"
