Want To Get The Cognito 2-3" Leveling Kit But Need Help B4 Purcha

Hi all,

I just bought a 2008 2500hd ltz with 60k kms. The truck is levelled but I think it is with indexed keys. Can someone confirm this? The reason I think this is because the torsion bolts still have a lot of threads left and looking at my coworkers truck with the cognito it only has 2 threads left. From the wheel well to the top of the rim I measure 16.75". The same as the coworker's truck.

My ball joints are angled pretty good and the ride is rough. I am going to work this truck in the oil patch so I need the ride to be as smooth as possible while being as solid as possible. The reason I need the lift is for the 285s I have on there. Also, my coworkers truck doesn't seem to have much more of a upper bump stop gap than I do. He does have more but only about a 1/4". I thought that was one of the main attractions of the cognito arms? Or is this where the the shock extenders come in play?

The rear suspension kind of puzzles me too because my coworkers truck had blocks under the leaf springs and I don't. But it definitely seems higher than stock.

If someone can tell me what I have that would be great. And if I do have indexed keys can I keep them and just install the cognito? Or should I get stock keys?

Thanks a lot!

I just received a phone call from another coworker and he said he has a set of air bags for the back for cheap. I am going to be carrying quite a bit so I think I am going to purchase them. Anyways, hope the pictures show everything.

For all those who hate decals as much as I do, here is a before and after. That's my Dad peeling them off.

Does anyone know a good way to peel headrest stickers off???
