GMT-900 Silverado Slp Bumper Cover Paint?

My Slp bumper cover arrived today and while I have searched, I still can't come up with any concrete answers. Would it be best to have it professionally painted? Or If I was to rattle can paint this what steps should I take in painting it? I believe its made out of abs plastic. Any help is appreciated.

You definitely want to have it professionally painted... Otherwise you are going to end up with a chipping and peeling mess over time.

Have you had the cover painted and installed it yet? How well does it fit? I am considering this as well.
