So I washed my truck today and noticed that there seems to be waterspots on one side of my truck only. They weren't there 2 weeks or so ago when I last washed my truck. I noticed them when I was going to dry off my truck and they are all over the side including the windows. I even washed my truck a 2nd time and finished off with meguiars showtime finishing detailer and they were still there. I even tried glass cleaner on the windows and they still wouldn't go away. My truck looks clean and everything except if I look a certain angle or in certain light you can see all the water spots. Any ideas on what to do or how to remedy this?

For a quick fix hit the paint with a clay bar. Then if needed you can use some Meguiar's Scratch X by hand with an applicator or MF towel. Make sure you wax after. You can go over the windows with the Scratch X as well. Some folks use a 50/50 water vinegar mixture to remove water spots from the paint and windows.

Clay bar will definitely get the water spots off the paint

Use a very fine steel wool on the windows with a glass cleaner, it will not scratch the glass

We have very hard water here, so I have this problem alot. Use a good clay bar like others have said and that will make it go away.

water with a little vinegar mixed in.

Then clay and wax it real good. A clay bar will look like it takes it off but they come back real quick at least everytime I get them.

Believe it or not, those stupid Mr Clean cartriges eliminate that problem. I've got a Smokin' Asphalt SSR, and it's the ONLY way I can keep the spots off it. They're basically demineralizer cartridges, so they remove the minerals, which is what you see after the water evaporates. Also, ya gotta wahs when it's cool, or at least out of the sun.
