Exhaust Help

I'm trying to decide what kind of muffler i should buy. I have a 2000 Silverado 5.3L V8 and want to either get a flowmaster or magnaflow that is single in, dual out and run straight pipes out the back. Not looking for anything too crazy loud. Any advice or thoughts would be great!

Go with Magnaflow. It will give you a much deeper, and throatier exhaust note than Flowmaster.

I got Flowmaster Super 40's on mine and they sound good without being overly loud.

I would go with a magnaflow if you want a nice rumble, and some flowmasters have a raspier sound to them, which I don't care for too much. As far as the model goes, magnaflow goes by size, usually it's a 5X8" oval, and then the length varies for sound. I have an 18" long, and it is fairly quiet, but it is noticeable when you want it, and has a nice purr to it. I have a clip of mine in my sig. also I would go look on youtube, that helped me decide, and it really helps alot IMO
