2005 Silverado 2500 Electrical Problem

I have an intermittent problem with the 7 pin plug electrical system. When using the left turn signal both the left and right activate. When using the brake only the left lights up. Checked the plug and bulbs and replaced the flasher. This is only on the 7 pin system, the truck system works normally

Took it to the dealer and he could find nothing wrong at the time he examined it.

find the ground wire, remove it, clean it, hit it with some dielectric grease and hook it back up. Try it again. This is assuming that you are certain it is not the trailer. More times than not, the trailer is the ground culprit. In that case do the same procedure on the trailer.

Redid the ground as suggested and even added extra ground wire to the frame. I still have the intermittent problem with my right brake light
