Any Echo With Bluetooth Vcim?

Before I purchase a new VCIM for my 2007 Yukon, I would like to survey those who have the factory installed and the replacement VCIM's with the Bluetooth feature. Do you have an echo when using the Bluetooth (cell phone paired) option? Currently I have a BlueStar 2010 and have a bad echo. To the point peoiple do not want to speak to me with while I am in my Yukon. I will be sending the BlueStar back as their new software does resovle this issue.

I think you will be very pleased with GM's BT integration. Very simple, very easy to set up, and the mic/audio is bar none! Best system I have owned....

I've noticed that there can be a slight echo for maybe the first 5-10 seconds of a call sometimes, if I have the volume turned way up. However the system seems to "sync" very quickly and eliminates any time delayed feedback that may be present.

If you do not try the VCIM route many people have returned their ****star and purchased my Galaxy 1000, we are testing a unit for your vehicle now and hope to release it in the near future.

The only negative thing I can say about my factory bluetooth is there is a slight whining noise at tmes. But that could very well be from my phone I suppose. It is an electrical interferance of sorts. Sounds just like a radio in an older vehicle with copper core spark plug wires (no noise suppression). But it is very tollerable.

That would be alternator feedback. There is a TSB describing a fix that can be done to take care of that issue, which should be covered under your warranty since you have a 2009 truck.

If I recall correctly, there's something about a filter that goes between the microphone and the onstar module; I think if you do a search the TSB has been posted before.
