Adding Park Assist Mirror Option

I have read where some have "upgraded" their trucks and got the mirror park assist whereby the mirrors tilt down when the truck is put in reverse. According to what I have read, I have the right controls but I think I may need to add a wiring harness to enable it. Could someone please confirm I am on the right track or not?

 

I am missing connectors on J5, J6 and J7 on both doors. Also, I have the camper style mirrors but they have the turn signals and heat.

Is this an option for me or am I blowing wind?

From what I have learned (only a little on this upgrade) is you need the power folding "standard" style mirrors. This will not work with the camper mirrors.

 

I may be wrong though!

Yeah, from what I know is that you need the power folding mirrors (non-trailer).
