Hvac Settings

My HVAC settings as to where the air is to blow doesn't always change when I hit the button. I end up having to shut it off, turn my vehicle to the on position for a few seconds, then off again and start my vehicle.

 

That works well when I'm sitting in a parking lot or the driveway but not when I am actually driving.

 

Any solutions out there?

yep, sounds like an actuator issue. I just had a new one put in my truck at the dealer about a month ago. probably cost you about 150-250 depending on how difficult the bad one is to access.
