Alright I have a 2009 GMC Sierra. Here is a picture of it

Now I have the 2 inch Rough Country Leveling kit that was 70 bucks or something.

I would really like to run these wheels right here

But my main question is what size tire could I run with this. I want something as beefy as I can get without having to rub or do much trimming..

you have the same wheels and RC kit i do on my sierra. 305/55/20's should fit fine, from what I've read there may be a tiny bit of rub at full lock, but other than that they are great.

My buddy has a 2007 Silverado 4x4 with the Chevy 20's and he is running 305/55/20 Cooper Zeon LTZ's and he rubs at full lock... Its not bad and he hasn't trimmed anything but something with beefier tread/side lugs might rub a bit harder.

hmm i wish your tires had more tread haha

yeah they are the stock tires. i plan to get something meatier

It amazes me when I read that a 305/55/20 will fit with minor rubbing with only a 2" leveling kit. I experienced "minor" rubbing with 5" of lift and that size tire. "Matt" had to cut metal on his Denali to run that tire with a 3" body lift. OP, just understand that some people's definition of "fit" is quite different than others. And it's up to you just what you're willing to do to make a tire fit. If it were my truck I would go no bigger than a 285/55.

I'll slap my hand on the Bible and tell you it fit with him rubbing at full lock. I'm always uneasy when it comes to believing people and rubbing because "only rubs a little" is too much for me. I don't want any rubbing but his tires only rubbed at full lock.
