For All That Have 2.5 Inch Leveling Kit

I've had a 2.5 inch leveling kit on my 07 for around 30,000 miles. When i first installed the kit i really didnt notice a clunk but the more i drove my truck the more i noticed it. On this forum many people say they have had ball joint issues with these kits, so i thought that was my problem. Mine is most noticeable on rough roads at low speeds and especially turning into parking lots. I've jacked the truck up numerous times and tried to shake to see if there was any play in the ball joints, but they felt tight. So finally today i had enough of the clunkin so i take the tire off, planning to take the spacers out, but i see the problem right in front of me, the bottom part of ther upper control arm is hitting the the metal stop, so i cut a piece of rubber about 1/4 thick and glued it in between. Take it for a test drive and no more clunk through the steering wheel, feels like it come off the showroom floor. This may have been mentioned before but this makes my truck feel new again so i had to share.

Id like to see also. I have a 2.5 level on my truck. No issues. Put it on my truck when i bought it new and have 7500 on it now but Id really like to see a pic of what you did.
