Programming Procedure For Adding Remote Keyless Entry In A 98 With A T

The vehicle is a 1998 Chevy S10 (non extended build). It does have the Pw and PL, but didn't originally come with RKE (AU0). I got a new RKE receiver and 2 new RKE fob's that have the correct matching FCC Id's. The 2 GM dealerships I have went to didn't know how to add it without replacing the BCM since they called up the GM tech hotline and were told there is no VCI calibration to get for this year and model. I know it has been done on a 99 S10 blazer, and on a 98 S10, but the dealerships that had techs that did it live no where around me. I know a junkyard friend (he does rebuildables mostly) that has an updated tech 2 that if I can get the procedure to go through with the tech II, that I can enable the RKE for a small fee. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
