Lower Door Weather Strip/corrosion Problem Found

I orignally posted this a topic a while back under "How To Remove Lower Door Weather Strip".

Update:

I finally removed one of the weather strips on the lower part of my doors (drivers side rear door) to clean under it, and I found just what I worried about finding, corrosion/small bubbles forming right at the seem of the door where the outer shell is welded to the inside part of the door (this portion of the door cannot be seen unless you remove the weather strips and look under them). My truck is a 2008 with only 15k miles on it, so luckily it is still under its bumper to bumper warranty. After discovering this problem I looked at my truck very closely and also noticed the same type of problem on the inside bottom of my tailgate. If you put the tailgate down there is the same type of welded seem and right at that seem I see some corrosion/small bubbles forming in the paint. Both of these areas are on the minor side right now, but who knows what they will look like in a year or two from now. I'm taking my truck to the dealer next week to show them this problem which I expect GM to fully repair. I don't know if this may be a defect in the paint which may be unique to my truck or not. Others may want to look at the same areas on their trucks to see if you find any similar type of situation occurring so that you can hopefully get it corrected while your truck is still under warranty.

Is anyone else experiencing any body corrosion/other paint problems on their NBS (07+) trucks?
