I was wondering if anyone has used the slot in their GMT900 bumper to mount lights. I was thinking something along the lines of an equinox fog light, the projector style. I have factory fogs but I was thinking it may look neat and you wouldnt really see them unless they were lit. I figured with the small lense they may fit good. Just wire them in with the factory fogs. Would just have to build some type of bracket. Wiring them probably wouldn't be too hard. What do you all think?

With the right brackets, anything is possible. You may have to increase the size of the fog light fuse though as you are increasing the load on the fuse.

Just order a complete kit from your dealer or online. You get color matched bumper ends, lights, switch, harness and instructions for about $300.00 shipped. I did it and it was easy and looks factory installed.

I already have the factory fogs. I was talking about the slot in the center bar w/ some small lights. But thanks for the info!

There's a link in post #20 of this thread that has some pics of some lights in the bumper slot. Don't know if there the same kind of lights your thinking of, but its probably the same concept.
