Upgraded To 20" X 8.5" Rims, Quick Question

Hey guys, I just purchased some used 20" x 8.5" American Racin Rims (they are at least 10 years old). They do have some pitting and flaking, but nothing serious, and I'll only be running them in the summer. Anyway, I have some shots of them after I shined/buff/polished the hell out of them (took me 2 hours!). The tires on there are 285/50/R20 Hankook Venture ST tires, they probably have 1 summer left in them, if that. Anyway I'll be looking at getting new tires during winter for them (off season for the rims) I'm looking at some 285/60/R20 Nitto Terra Grapplers, I've read good things about them. I'm pretty new to this forum, but I'm a regular over at GMI.

Anyway, I'm looking at cranking my stock torsion bars up a bit. I've reserached it to death. I know how to measure them and where to crank them. I'm just wondering if anyone has any advice as to how many full revolutions I should go on the bolts... I was thinking 4 for starters and then measuring, has anyone had experience with this? I'm Pretty sure I'm going to have to crank them to fit the new rims.

I have a 2004 Silverado Z71 (stock height and stock keys).

Here are some pics of the new rims:

Thanks, Guys

On a torsion bar crank it really depends on how the truck is set up. CV joint angle is going to be the biggest thing for you to watch for doing it. When you do turn, make sure you drive it around the block so that the suspension will settle into place and when your done, dont forget the alignment.
