Need Advise On Dying Issue Again.

Ok here's the scenario: Had the "truck would just die symptom" three weeks ago, replaced, Fuel pressure regulator, Fuel Filter, Fuel pump. ($500.00 in parts).. Everything ran great for a short 180 mile round trip burn-in.... Then parked it for a day, went to restart, wouldn't start...Same symptom of no fuel being in the fuel line, because after about a minute with key in AUX (And fuel pump running), it started no problem. Then on another test trip, truck stalled again while driving, wouldn't start. Tried cranking for about 30 seconds no go. Waited about three minutes truck started right up...

I suspect the (sit for two days) won't start is lost gas pressure in fuel line (but am not totally sure)... If this is the case, I am guessing that this is also a good guess at what's causing other issue (just dying which it did once). Thoughts? Could the Cruise control module be doing this?

I throw out a guess, do these newer vehicle get vapor lock like the older vehicles did. Maybe this is causing no fuel to run thru??? Or somthing allowing the system not to stay presurized? They are only guesses but I seen no others repond so I would encourage you and give this topic a bump.

While I was in the NAPA store looking into replacing the fuel line cables (the plastic vinyl parts), a fellow told me that he had an issue with a small "trap" as he called it - a dip in the plastic fuel line that he thought caused the fuel pump to work to hard at times, and thus not pump enough fuel. He said once he replaced the vinyl connectors to fuel pump and made sure they were a straight shot, he never had the intermittant dying problem. He too had replaced his fuel pump, filter and pressure regulator.

Had 2000 with same problem.Low pressure from pum.Changed pump then truck wouldn't start. Turned out to be 3 wires shorting together under engine bay fuse panel
