Cant Make Up My Mind! 2" Or 2/5" Level Kit

RC 2" or CCM 2."5 kit

-RC 2" easier to install and a little cheaper and a chance it still wont be level

-CCM 2.5" little more work to install and a chance rear will be lower. also little more ware on front end parts. If the rear is lower then i would have to get a taller block for rear to raise it up. which isn't a big deal to me

Any of your thoughts will help. like what do u have and how level is it. My truck has factory spray in bed liner and is going to have a soft bed cover so will have some added weight in rear. Also getting n-fab step bars or another brand like them

My plans is to level these wheels in 20x9 and 33" 275/60r20 tire.

I suggest the 2 inch RC level. Alot of people are running them and no complaints. Alot are running the CCM as well but I was never a fan of going more than 2 inches int he front. I mean you pretty much answered your own question. You gave all these cons as to using CCM as well as stating your rear will already be slightly lower because of liner and cover. I'd go with the RC 2 inch.

BTW I like those wheels. Should look sexy

Take measurements, this will make up your mind for you. Make sure you do it between 2 fixed positions (ex. middle of wheel to fender) so the variable of the tire from one side to the other is moot.

On my extended cab like yours my rake is 1.75'' so I plan on installing the 1.5'' Procomp kit leaving .25'' of rake. I'm starting to suspect that the rakes may be different on NBS trucks depending on if they are 4 door, ext cab or reg cab b/c of different weights exerted on the front suspension maybe?

ok in my driveway with half tank of gas i measured and WTF!

You're right about that. My 2WD RCSB had almost 3.5 inches of factory rake. I've still got quite a bit after my RC 2 inch kit. Just don't want to go above that.

Hate to tell you but NO truck sits level. They all sit higher on one side or the other a bit.

Go with the RC 2 inch kit. Much better on your truck, and if your truck still sits a little lower at least you'll have some rake for when you tow.

i really wouldnt mind 2.5" with 3" block in rear! LOL i dont no what i want lol

Do what you think is best for your truck. IMO I wouldn't go over 2 inches. Really I wish I would have gone 1.5 inches. Good luck with your decision.

do u have any good pix of yours from the side? i dont want to much rake! I may just go cheap and easy and put a RC 2" on it!

Not to hijack, but I just measured again for giggles. Front was around 37.25" and rear was almost 40"! This is after a 2 in front level. Almost 5 inches stock rake! Wow I never realized it was that bad on my 2WD. I think I may take out the rear block to help level it out some more.

I had the daystar 2" leveling kit for a while, now I have the CCM 2.5" i like the CCM better, maybe that .5" makes it look better, I don't know. I also have a 3" block in the rear with about .75" of rake. Perfect I think. I've had a lift/leveling kit on here for over 30,000 miles with (knock on wood) no problems at all.

I've been running the CCM kit for 50,000 miles and no problems. I measured the distance from the bottom of the wheel well to the top of my tire and ordered the correct kit that way.

I went with the 2.5" level and didn't put a block in the back. I am glad I didn't because it would be higher but still have the stock rake. I do think that after I buy my wheels and tires I will go with a 4.5" lift though. It seems that the level makes it look better but just isn't really high enough.
