Baer 14" Alumasport Kit - New!

Hi fellas,

I put together this kit from a lot of research and contact with Baer and PBR brake company. I purchased these parts less than a month ago, but I have to get an emergency MRI and medical expenses and it set me back A LOT. I need to let this mod go to someone for cheap to offset the cost until I can save enough money to do it later this year. Not trying to make any money on this deal, just break even. The rotors alone retail over $900 as they are the 2-piece rotors, the calipers over $800, and the pads, well, are like $75.

The parts I have are the exact ones for the Alumasport 14" kit from Baer. Calipers are from kit 4301038, and the 2-piece rotors are replacements for the One Piece Rotors that come with that kit. Ordered Rotors directly from Baer, and Calipers came directly from PBR. Also, I have a new Hawk HPS brake pad set, D1058, for the calipers. The calipers are from a Chrysler 300C and use D1058 pads. Below are some photos. I can send extra photos if needed.

Calipers, Rotors, and Hawk HPS Pads Shipped: $1200 OBO. I would like to sell these ASAP, to a member, otherwise I have to return them to Baer and PBR to get my money back. Make an offer and PM me if you are interested.

This is the kit with one piece rotors:

The Calipers are made by PBR and here is a pic:

Hi fellas,

I'm lost.... You said your not trying to make any money but on this topic you said

I contacted PBR directly and got the calipers for $130 each, ($260 total). They come powdercoated red like you see in the pic. The rotors are the 2-piece alternates to the ones you get with the true kit. My kit number for my truck is kit 4301038. I think it may work on some of the GMT-900 trucks also. Baer sold me the rotors for $100 over the cost of the one piece rotors were out of stock, so I got all the parts for ~$800 shipped. This is a massive discount over the kit prices.

Total: ($200 each for one piece rotors x 2 + $100 extra for 2-piece rotors = $500) + ($260) + Shipping = ~$800.

I'm interested and I understand your medical issue (hope you get better soon) but need further clarification

Is it 1200 or 800 for the kit?

I actually understated the cost of the parts a little bit for the topic post, not planning on it being for sale 3 weeks after I bought it. Forgive me for not posting the exact amount in the mod post. It was not my intention to have medical emergency three weeks later. I also am throwing in the Hawk HPS pads. As you can see, I have the $1200 OBO, which means it is up to you to PM me and offer me what you think is reasonable. The cost was actually more than the $800 dollar "topic Price" i wrote about (almost $1000) as it was a ballpark number for easy math. Not to mention, the buyer will have to pay for shipping, which I am guestimating as between $100 to $200 bucks due to the weight of the rotors and calipers. Again, the final price is negotiable so don't hesitate to contact me directly. The shipping is also not solid, as I do not know what they will charge and I will ship how the seller wants via USPS, UPS, or FedEx.

Thanks for the interest everyone!

To make this clear: the kit is $1000 for everything including the Hawk Pads, and the shipping surely is between $50 and $200, but i do not know until I have a purchaser. The shipping is the variable part.
