Getting New Rims And Tires And Don't Know Shit About Either

Currently have some 33" tires on them, the tire reads 285/17r16. Theyre okay, not as wide as i would like, and the rims i have are 16". I don't necessarily need new tires nor rims but I wouldn't mind going for some black rims.

 

 

any ideas/thoughts? anyone want to trade? haha

You could always look on craigslist or ebay. If you wanting some brand new tires, I got mine from treadepot.com, and wheels for cheap can be found on rimzoneonline.com

LOL, love the title! I'd say re-check the tire size you stated, as the "17" is probably a "70" or "75". If you'd like black rims, price them out in your 16" size & just have your tires mounted on them. Hopefully they have some good tread left, or I'd just replace the tires as well.

I can't answer your question but out of curiosity I did a good search for 285/17r16 tires and couldn't find any actual websites but they are mentioned on several forums as either members running them or suggesting that size. Even Toyo MT's but cant find that size on their website

That's because that size doesnt exist... (edit, it doesnt even make sense. That tire would be 20" tall and 11.22" wide. He read his sidewall wrong... or he bought a BLEM)

haha well for whatever reason just the front right tire reads that.. no idea why, i bought the truck with the tires on, every other one reads 285/75/r16
