07 1500 Sierra Tranny Lines?

I know I do not post on here often, usually all my questions are answered with a search. Can someone tell me how the clips work on the tranny lines? I have an 'o7 crew cab 1500 4X4, the tranny line that goes into the radiator above the lower radiator hose is leaking? There is a "clip" looking thing that was slid back on the line, I tried to push it back on but it will not snap on?? How is the line actually held into the radiator?

Look at this post and my post after it. There are three pics that show the fitting and how it goes together

If it is the metal clip that you say was loose, the metal line may have backed out of the fitting enough to leak. The clip may not be actually holding the line in place. You may need to remove the clip and push the line into the fitting, then replace the clip. GM recommends replacing with a new clip each time and this may be your problem. It may have been removed before and has been bent out of shape and no longer has the retaining ability. You can re-use them if you remove them carefully and don't distort them

Good info, Thanks- of course it is the bottom one that leaks so it is hard to see. What bends, ? The retaining clip, I did get hit head on right after I bought it. They did not replace the radiator but it always seems to have a slight leak. Now it is starting to drip. Is there an o-ring in there to replace also?
