Does BlueStar play music from your phone through the vehicle speakers VIA bluetooth like Ford Sync? My 2010 has Bluetooth, but I was a little disappointed when the dealer told me it would play music through the bluetooth and found out when I got home that it couldn't.

I've never understood the appeal of adding something like that to a vehicle. You can get a bluetooth headset for 20-30 bucks, and it's not tied to your vehicle. Of course, you'll look like knob for walking around with it.

I had a cheap vr3 speakerphone thing in my truck for a while. I used it like twice and decided I would just hold the phone to my ear from now on. Even if it is illegal in some states. Now, texting is another story.

I have a motorola T505. It worked awesome in my Jeep, not as well in the truck. Was really hoping for an oem style solution. Its illegal to talk and text here. I agree with the laws to a degree, but I need to do both for work. My phone has speech to text, and voice search to control while driving, and bluetooth in the truck for phone, but a music solution would be nice.
