Any ideas, here's what I got.03 2500hd airbag light on.code is b0101(left front impact sensor./Replaced both sensors with new, still b0101.swapped sensors left to right.still b0101 The chart I had said it was a bad srm. replaced it cleared the previous codes, went straight back to b0101.Visually inspected harness from impact sensor to the module no obvious defects?I'm out of ideas, local dealer out of ideas, just checking if anyone's had this problem or has a direction to go in.Thanks

sorry to bring this up from the dead of a few months, but when its a b0100 of performance is the code and the light now comes on and off, any ideas where/why the light is coming on and off now? its not flashing, more of a on for a few minutes then off for a uncertain amout of time then on for the same. It really seems to go on and off with bumps in the road but some bumps it comes on and some bumps it stays off... before the new sensor it would stay on constitanly. thanks ahead of time

Mine does the same thing. Mostly when I come to a stop. The dealer said the Airbag control module under the seat is on it's way out and needs to be replaced. Quoted $1000.00.

took it to our local chevy dealership, not the one named after a so called nascar driver...

techs are pretty good and only charged me to get the code read. .. 85 bucks.. the guy ohmed tested the harness and said it was good and that the module is bad. at first it was a faulty front drivers impact sensor.. 100 bucks for that bad boy.. now looks like another 100 for a used control module or 300 for a new GM one.. think the used will have to do for now the local junk yard said they would garantee it works... YAY..

.... ill post more after this friday...
