Hey guys,

I came across this site as I was having problems with my new (to me) Sierra SLT (NBS) sunroof. Namely, I have water leaking from the drivers side pillars (its a crew cab)

Anyway, located the TSB and other people having the similar problems, have the new sunroof seal coming in tomorrow. Checked the drain tubes, both are clear and open.

Just saying HI, and thanks (if this fixes my problem)

Welcome to the site! You have a real nice truck!

Thanks! I stuck with GM... it replaced my 1996 Chev 1500 4x4 (also in the picture for the couple days that I owned both)

I've only had for 2 weeks, and this sunroof water problem came up..... not really impressed, especially since it's JUST out of warranty.. At least GM had recognized there was a problem and wrote a TSB about it.

That sucks man. Did you try and talk to GM about it since its not that far out of warranty and they knew about the problem already?

Yup. It was a TSB and not an official 'recall'.. so they said no dice. But quoted my about $300 to complete the work. So I walked next door the Parts department, saw a friend that works there, bought the new seal for $65 and will do it myself.
