Binding Up In 4 Wheel Drive

I put a susension maxx leveling torion key in my sierra and it brought the front end up 3 inches. I put it in 4 wheel drive and it binds up when I turn and I doesn't sound good. I think I need longer front half shafts or not, can anyone help me?

three inches is a little much for a torsion key lift, try putting it back to 2 inches, and make sure your not on dry pavement when in 4WD

Also, its is common for the vehicle to bind in 4x4 when making sharp turns at slow speeds. The first 4x4 I ever owned was a new 1975 Chevy Blazer and that would bind on slow turns also so I doubt there is anything to it as that is going to happen in situations where the tires get traction. Probably don't need to be using 4x4 in the instance.

I agree with the two previous replys 100%. 3" is too much for a torsion key lift, and if you're on a hard enough surface to notice the binding in 4wd, you probably don't need 4wd in the first place. Nearly all trucks will bite, bind, and jerk in 4wd when making tight turns on hard surfaces.

was this binding there prior to the lift when you were in 4 wheel drive on dry pavment

No the binding wasn't there so i'm going to lower it some
