Clock Keeps Resetting Itself To 12:00

2008 Silverado 2500HD, Vortec 6.0

Occassionally, the truck will start, and the clock has reverted back to 12:00. At times the starter goes "click", and then starts on the second turn of the key. What problem am I looking at that causes this??

Sounds like your battery has an internal short. My '03 did this exact same thing. I bet your battery will fail a load test.

Mine does the same thing from time to time. I haven't figured out what it is but it doesn't really matter to me. If I did find the fix I'd be happy though.
