I absolutely love this forum, it is filled with great info. Anyhow, I have noticed a lot of people asking where to pull a 12V switched source from. All you need to do is go to the passenger side of the dashboard, pop off the cover and attach the wire to the pin in the picture. You can run the wire straight down the kick panel and back to your amp. With that being said, I have no idea what that pin is supposed to be used for or if will cause any harm to your vehicle. Proceed at your own risk... Hope this helps

Good Tip! I seen someone run one off the fuse box located under the dash on the driver side too.

out of curiosity. why not run it from the remote wire on your head unit? not sure what this source powers, but I was plugged into a fuse for a short time, and it got annoying hearing my amp power up before my head unit.

With Older trucks (IE my 1991) there is a similar thing, but should be near the drivers side floor.
