pat.voyer Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 hey guys, i am going to be buying some new rims and tires i was wondering what size rims with what offset would be best ? i was looking at Goodyear Dura-Trac - 285-75 -r16 before i wanted rims now i want 18" rims so what tire size is equal if i run 18" rims. also what offset would be best ? I have Tuff Country Leveling kit in the front and add a leaf in the rear thanks alot for all your suggestions these are the rims i am looking at, any other suggestions for black rims are welcome! Blue_Z71 Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 A 275/70/18 is real close to a 285/75/16. You can get 18x8.5" wheels with +18mm offset, plus they also have 18x9" with -12mm offset. Depends on what you'd like, and if you want a 9" wide rim on a (supposed) 11.2" wide tire. I've personally got 35x12.50x17's on 17x9" Dick Cepek DC-2's in black/machined. I went with negative offset myself.
