Lo-pro Qt Vs. Peragon Retractable

well..this is my first truck and this will be my first tonneau cover aswell. i DO know that the lopro qt has great reviews and truxedo will have many ppl up to bat for it. but i DID find a great deal locally on a peragon alluminum cover from a guy returning a leased truck. i guess im kind of wondering what has the better advantage or if this would be a go with the best deal kind of thing? will the peragon rattle being aluminum and all? just seeing what you guys like the leather roll type or alluminum retractable type?

I have a tonnopro tri-fold and I like. Very easy to put on and take off. Just lay on the bed and line it up, clamp it down and unfold it and clamp it down.....and unclamp, fold it up, unclamp and take off. Very simple. It does not sit as low-pro as the qt or trux...but it was a hell of lot cheaper. And I did not buy to look pretty...I got it to cover stuff in the bed when traveling. Kept all my stuff dry and secure.

My buddy has a peragon and he likes it but I do not. It is noisey as hell on a bumpy road. If you do not pull it just right to close it gets catty cornered in the track and gets locked up. It also leaks a fare amount. I have also heard that the panels break often. That is my 2 cents. But it is your truck and your decision.

+1 for the Tonno Pro

I have a tonnopro tri-fold and I like. Very easy to put on and take off. I have the lo pro tonneau on my truck and love it. I have had a fiber glass one aswell as a tri fold and i now have this one. I like this one the best by far because of my needs. I can easily get my girzzly 660 into the back of my truck by simply rolling it up. I paid around $305.00 for mine. Id say either lo pro or Bakflip since you can lock it in place.

I have a Retrax Roll Top and it is also aluminum and it makes no noise even on very rough forest service roads.

well turns out the guy with the peragon was a jacka$$ and i didnt bother buying it becuase of how ignorant he was lol. so i think i will either go with the lopro QT or the bakflip. whatever i can get a better deal on. is the bakflip nice and easy to remove to get a quad into the back? i know the lopro qt is nice and easy.
