03 Front Clip Part#'s

I can't get any of the assclowns over at fsc to want to help me find them

I need the part numbers so I can do the front swap on my truck while I have the money

I think thats it Tom. Not totally sure if theres anything else or not. Maybe Jason would know for sure.

Will you need stuff like bumper brackets too, or will that most likely be stuff you'll have to custom make to fit your truck?

The bumper brackets are supposedly built into the new bumpers if not yea I'll need um

Shouldn't your dealer be able to look in the "crash book" and easily pull these part numbers for you?

Seriously, though, I think that on a sport 2wd like yours the new front does look better than the old one. The 4wd 1/2 tons are a different matter all together, though....

If I were you, once (you think that) you got all the parts figured out I would park your truck beside an '03, open up the hoods, etc and crawl around all over them and compare. Little stuff, like wheelwell liners, brackets for underhood parts (air cleaner, fuse panel, etc) may be different.

I would check out the engine compartment very closely, because I think that the radiator brackets are also diffenent.

Does anyone know if they make a 2 inch body lift for a 02 silverado 1500 I need to lift the body 2 inches to fit the 02 silverado hd front end on my 1500. All that I've been able to find is a 3 inch body lift. ??? I do not want to have to "cut down a 3 inch to make a 2 inch body lift. The reason for the lift is to accomodate the 2 inch "dip" in the grille between the parking lamps. By installing a body lift I will avoid having to weld on the frame horns to lower the bumper brackets.
