Engine Runs Weird After Headers

hey guys i put on pacesetter LT headers and a dual dynomax ultra flow exhaust last week.

 

When i drive to school everything runs great. once i start driving home or around town the truck runs weird.

while driving and holding the RPMs steady at 1000 RPMs the truck feels like it hesitates or has little bursts of power instead of a steady supply of power.

 

While sitting at a red light in "drive" the truck revs up to 1000 RPMS and drops down to 600 RPMs and repeats.

 

slowly accelerating from a stop the truck also slightly hesitates.

 

This only happened after i put on the headers.

 

I have spark plug defoulers on and the only engine code was a random miss fire. the dealer said that should be solved by cancelling out the rear o2's

 

Can this be solved by a custom tune

Your problem, is that your O2 sensors are having issues. It can be addressed by a tune.
